I wanted to photograph it before I unstretched it.  I used old Playboy magazines and color TV circuit board diagrams as that "little something extra" in this painting.  I really enjoy mixing media.  Even some of the buildings are pieces of canvas sewn onto together. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The buildings are loosely based on the Minneapolis skyline, to where my brother recently moved. I can't imagine that he can see much of anything and that's probably why he runs full-force into walls. He jumps right in when I put the ball up to the door to his cage, so he must find some fun in it. I saw a lot of them this summer and I like sheep (see previous painting). But these sheep are like evil sheep. He hangs in the entrance to our apartment so anyone who walks in, unless they are invited in, are going to be really scared by this painting. They will also see Steve's target he shot at when he went to the shooting range with his friend, no head or heart shots, so an intruder will die a slow, painful death upon entering our house.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Willing to make other guard dogs for people who feel they need a little extra protection in their homes. The Sheep is my latest. I'm trying to combine my older style of very painterly, abstract figures, to work with my newer style of flat, nutty landscapes. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. I used some sand and texturing in the paint which gave a little something special to the sheep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not sure why I chose sheep as a subject, I just really like them.
